Available with rugged aluminum or corrosion-resistant V4A (316L) stainless steel housings, these encoders are built to endure extreme environments. IP67-rated sealing protects internal components from dust and water ingress, while a semi-permeable membrane prevents internal moisture buildup, reducing the risk of condensation and measurement errors.
Designed to withstand shocks up to 200 g and continuous vibrations up to 20 g, these encoders operate reliably in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +80°C. They are certified for hazardous environments (ATEX/IECEx, Zones 2 and 22).
Offered in absolute and incremental versions, IXARC encoders feature multiple interfaces, including PROFINET, SSI, CANopen, EtherCAT, and EtherNet/IP. M12 connectors enable daisy-chaining for simplified cabling, and built-in LEDs support easy setup.
